Healthy donutrecipe in Brookfield WI.
Ingredients in Brookfield WI
- 1 1/4 cup blanched almond flour
- 1/4 t baking soda
- 2 T coconut oil
- 3 T pure maple syrup
- 1 t apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 t almond extract
- 1/2 t vanilla extract
- 2 eggs, at room temperature, whites and yolks separated
- coconut oil for greasing pan
Directions

- .Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Grease pan with coconut oil.
- Combine dry ingredients in a bowl. Combine wet ingredients in a separate bowl except egg whites and mix.
- Mix wet and dry ingredients together.
- Beat the egg whites until frothy and fold into mixture.
- Add the batter to the donut molds smoothing out the top.
- Bake for 15 minutes.
- Let donuts cool before removing from pan then frost as desired.
Topping Ideas
Melt coconut oil. Brush on top of donut then immediately sprinkle with coconut flakes.
Chocolate Frosting:
- 2 T melted coconut oil
- 1 T cacao powder
- 2 T maple syrup
